The impact of COVID on Young People and Youth Services in Devon
For some, home is not a safe place. Increased levels in domestic violence, drug and alcohol consumption, loss of income, combined with the lack of usual safeguards and support, mean that young people are at significant risk.
Turning Corners
Phase 1 of Turning Corners was a home-office funded partnership project to engage with young people on the streets of South Devon to steer them away from engaging in anti-social behaviour. Due to the success of phase 1, the Police & Crime Commissioner has now funded phase 2 for a further 4 years.
