The 100 Club’s Community Day

On the 15th February the 100 Club opened its doors for the Community Open Day! It was so heartwarming to see the local community brave the bad weather to explore the centre, and learn more about all that we have to offer. There was plenty of entertainment for all ages, with our face-painting and button-making stalls, a make-your-own smores station and an exciting tombola draw! Watching the local community socialise, ask questions, and engage with our space was an absolute highlight of the day.

Special thanks goes out to Exe Valley Tesco and One Stop for donating the day’s refreshments, making sure there was plenty of cake and sweet treats for all! We are also extremely grateful for the Lord Mayor of Exeter making time in his busy schedule to come and visit the centre!

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the local organisations who set up stalls and shared more about their services with us and the community:

- Exe Valley Tesco

- Devon and Cornwall Police

- The Street Doctors

- Wellbeing Exeter and Cranbrook

- The Exeter City Community Trust

- Pete's Dragon

- The Estuary League of Friends

- Inspiring Connections

Their presence added so much to the day, and we truly appreciate all of them taking the time to be a part of this event!

A big shoutout also goes out to the wonderful businesses in Countess Weir, Topsham and beyond who generously donated prizes for our tombola:

- Country Cheeses

- Exeter Golf and Country Club

- Topsham Cakes

- Cafe 24

- Wine World

- Mini Heaven Bakery

- Squid and the Kid

- Countess Wear Fish and Chips

Your kindness and contributions made the day even more entertaining, and we’re so grateful for your support! Thank you also to FORCE Cancer Charity for lending us their Tombola for the day!

Here’s to the continued strength of our community spirit at the 100 Club, and to many more events to come!
