Small Grant Fund

Are you looking for financial support for your youth club?

At Space Youth Services we offer a Small grant Fund designed for youth clubs in Devon who are looking for some extra financial support. Many youth clubs rely on donations and fundraising to operate, which can be a difficult and time-consuming process. Our Small Grant Fund can help allow the club to plan and implement its activities more effectively. Additionally, receiving this grant can help increase the club's visibility and credibility within the community, which can attract more volunteers, participants, and donors. Overall, applying for a small grant fund can help a youth club to continue providing valuable services to young people in the community.

The grants are assessed and allocated by a group of young people called ‘The Ninth Hub’- this is a group of young people who attend youth clubs across the County and include Space youth clubs as well as other voluntary organisations. They received training and support from the Space community team and meet twice a year to award the grants. Later in the year they then carry out visits to a number of clubs to check on how the grant has been spent and what was the impact. The group also undertakes Quality Assurance visits to our own youth centres to check on a number of things including accessibility, young people's engagement and centre facilities. The Team are always looking for new grant giver so if you are interested or know a young person who might be- please contact the team at communityteam@spacepsm.org
